Summer yoga holiday/retreat 2020
The annual summer retreat is going to take place in July 2020 from the 14th – 26th. The retreat is a so-called open retreat which means that it is up to you when and how many days you would like to stay in the Retreat (although the minumum stay required is 2 days).
The daily schedule
8-10 a.m.: Vinyasa/flow Yoga or Hatha Yoga*
10-11 a.m.: Vegetarian brunch
11 a.m.- 4 p.m.: Free time where you can relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Retreat or explore Langelands various attractions such as the georgous nature, hiking, local arts and crafts, horse riding, kayaking, the wonderful beaches, charming villages, castles and much more.
2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.: Snacks and tea/coffee
4 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Yin Yoga*
7 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Vegetarian dinner
8 p.m – 9 p.m.: Some evenings will offer an evening event such as meditation, mindfulness, chanting, kirtan or joining together around a bonfire etc.
10 p.m.- 8 a.m.: Silence in Shanti Retreat.
*) Please note that participation in the yoga classes is voluntary. It can be hard to do 4 hours of yoga a day if you are not used to it, so it is important to respect your body and take care of yourself.
Prices (all inclusive)
Price 160 EUR per day in a double room. If you wish to book a single room an extra fee of 20 EUR per night will be charged.
Yoga mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters are provided by Shanti Retreat. You are of course welcome to bring your own equipment.
Bed linen and towels
Bed linen (sheet, duvet cover and pillow case) and towels can be rented for 15 EUR. If you wish to do so please let us know when booking a place. Alternatively you are welcome to bring your own set.
